NSW GC Event Blog – Arc Renewable Group, Tuesday 5th September 2023

Another successful event in the Emajin paradise! Our members were treated to a stunning day at New South Wales Golf Club, learning about the renewable energy space and connecting with likeminded business owners to grow their networks!

Touted as “One of the world’s greatest golfing experiences”, New South Wales (NSW) is one of the most spectacular courses in Australia and it’s one of the toughest tests of golf in the country. Rated as the No. 1 golf club in NSW and consistently rated in the top 30 golf courses in the world, the stunning panoramic views, beautiful fairways and challenging conditions, with be a golfing experience to remember!

In a world where sustainability and environmental awareness are gaining prominence, at Emajin Golf, we are keen to increase the focus on our individual environmental responsibility both from a personal and business perspective. Preserving the planet is key to allowing future generations to enjoy the golfing landscapes and living environments that we take for granted today.

With the renewable energy space being an ever-changing landscape and one that effects businesses of all types, the theme for this golf day was sustainability and environmental awareness as it pertains to the individual as well as businesses.

Our keynote was presented by George Guse, MD at ARC Renewable Group. George, an Australian based entrepreneur with a strong passion and over 14 years’ experience in the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency industries talked about emission scopes and the various ways in which we could do our part in preserving the planet to allow future generations to enjoy the golfing landscapes and living environments that we take for granted today.

Enjoying the keynote presentation over breakfast in the picturesque New South Wales Golf Club boardroom, our members networked and were educated on how to improve their own environmental impact. Once the meeting was concluded, we set off to play!

A stunning day to play golf, the groups set off to their respective holes (shotgun start) to begin the round. Prizes for all the par 3’s and winners of the event, each group of the 2 ball ambrose were locked in to claim some of the goodies on offer. Whilst the groups teed off, our members that are just getting into golf began the clinic. A fabulous opportunity to get some professional tips and nail the basics before getting out onto the course, these members headed down to the range and got some additional networking opportunities in the process!

Once the round was coming to a close, the members met back at the clubhouse for canapes, drinks, prizes and share stories of their successes whilst out on the course. Another great opportunity to solidify the relationships made on the golf course and share details to network following the event conclusion.

The day supported the Australian charity: Australian Conservation Foundation the ACF, which is Australia’s national environmental organisation. Since 1965, the ACF has protected the nature we all love. Their aim is to speak for a world where forests, river, people and wildlife thrive. Their work includes winning World Heritage listing for the Great Barrier Reef and Kakadu National Park. With your help, Emajin Golf hopes to do our bit to create a more sustainable environment so future generations can enjoy the same amazing days on the golf course that we will enjoy at this event!
