Melbourne Event Recap: Commonwealth Golf Club

This week the team was full of excitement as we greeted over 40 attendees at the Commonwealth, a course rated amongst Australia’s top championship golf courses. We want to thank our amazing and guests and members for facing the challenging course with ease and enthusiasm, energetically connecting and actively participating in our networking session.

We would like to thank our guest speaker Dr Lauren Burns for leading us through her incredible journey to Olympic Gold, passing on her learnings for “Performing under Pressure” which apply to all of our role’s.

During the presentation, Lauren introduced us to Stacey Hymer who has qualified for the Australian Taekwondoe team for the Paris Olympics 2024. Stacey’s journey is reflective of Lauren’s and we cannot wait to follow her success.

At the Commonwealth event our members and guests were extended an opportunity to participate in raising funds for “Green and Gold Athletes” who provide opportunities for young people most in need to pursue their dreams of representing Australia, contributing to the escalating costs associated with training and competitions. Stacey Hymer is a benefit from this program, and we extend a huge thankyou to everyone who got involved in raising funds including Joel Wald from MMJ Real Estate who is contributing $2000 towards Stacey’s costs to be able to compete in Paris 2024.

Congratulations to our following winners on the day:
