Emajin Golf is a golf based business networking group providing strong networking opportunities and business connections built in a relaxed environment on the golf course. We are delighted to welcome you to our upcoming networking event at Pymble Golf Club.

The Course:

Pymble Golf Course is located in the heart of Sydney’s beautiful north shore residential district and only 30 minutes from the CBD, Pymble is regarded as one of Australia’s finest parkland courses and presents the golfer with a great variety of holes to test all levels.


The key event of the day will be a keynote talk by Brett Waddington from Superloop on the topic of “Unpacking Cyber Security for Australian Businesses”. Brett Waddington has an extensive background in the technology sector, with significant experience across the Asia Pacific and Australia. His career has been marked by roles at leading technology firms such as Cisco, Riverbed, Velocloud, VMware, Intel, and Cato Networks, where he has contributed in leadership, sales, product management, channel, and consulting. In recent years, Brett has deepened his engagement with Cyber Security, through writing, thought leadership, event presentations, and consulting on Security and Networking. His expertise and insights have led to invitations to participate in closed forum Cyber roundtables with ministers and industry bodies, focusing on cyber security. Brett is deeply engaged with the latest in technology platforms, services, and stays abreast of developments in Cyber hacking events, vulnerabilities, and AI progress.

  • Overview: Cyber Security is top priority for CEOs in Australia, as a business owner how is this relevant to me?

  • In this session we unpack the basics on what the risk is to business and what to do about it.
  • Dealing with the cyber landscape – technology and legislation is complicated and confusing.
  • Where to do you start as a business. How secure is my business? Are there any obligations to be met? What plans should you put in place?

Event Schedule: Monday, 27 May

11:00am: Shot gun start
11:00am: Golf Clinic commences
3:30pm: Canapes + prizes + networking + presentation of winners

Additional Details:

All attendees will have the opportunity to provide a brief introduction of themselves and their business. What’s included? Breakfast, keynote speaker, networking, post round canapes .
For golfers: 18 holes of golf,  nearest the pin prizes on all par 3 holes. For clinic participants: 1 hour clinic will commence after the meeting and will cover long game and short game tips.
